So for about a month, the car sat in my garage, serving as a convenient place
to set boxes of crap.

We stripped the interior and found some cracks around the drivers seat mounts.
Oh yeah, and some interesting repairs using random parts from... an old washing
machine maybe?

Our team captain found us a good deal on a racing seat which fit the character of
the car perfectly. That is, shabby and "experienced". I think my daughters like it!
They have promised to come to Houston and cheer for us.

No, that is not a giant bag of cocaine behind the seat - it's a fiberglass
pad that goes under the carpet to protect it from the heat of the catalytic
converter!

Chief fabricator Kent gets down and personal with the brake fluid reservoir.

... and again with the dashboard wiring.

The dashboard wiring is complete - all circuits verified and all
unnecessary wires removed.

Nothing left to do now but... sit on the hood and contemplate life.
